Project Details

This project engaged K-12 students, teachers, and community partners in Michigan's Western Upper Peninsula in place-based watershed stewardship education. Addressing water quality, erosion, and climate change, the initiative promoted understanding of ecosystem and human interconnectedness. Through professional learning, student assessments, and community collaboration, the project built capacity for stewardship, raised public awareness, and introduced natural resources and fisheries careers.
