Project Summary

The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Governors & Premiers, working through their Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Task Force, will identify priority “Least Wanted” AIS that threaten the Great Lakes St. Lawrence River Basin. Species will be selected using consistent climate, pathway, and impact criteria. Species profiles, risk assessment synthesis, and a communications and implementation plan will support coordinated action by the States and Provinces to prohibit the possession and transport of these species.
