2026 Lake Whitefish Initiative - Lake Whitefish Initiative

Project Summary

A small core team will be assembled to lead the development of a white paper.  The core team will need to access a variety of additional expertise, including expertise on Lake Whitefish populations, life history, genetic structure, management actions, genetic structure, hatchery facility status and hatchery practices.  Given the breadth of these topics, it will be important to have a broad set of knowledge, experience and perspectives, including hatchery facilities, rearing and stocking practices, and lake populations and habitats.
