Project Details
This project consisted of three related components: construction of three demonstration lake sturgeon spawning reefs, a public education program, and a robust monitoring program. The project's goal was to enhance a healthy and self-sustaining population of lake sturgeon in the river. This project had a consortium of federal, state, university, local, and nongovernmental agencies and organizations assisting with meeting goals.
