Project Details
The Wilder River Walk located at the Muskegon Lake Nature Preserve was constructed along the Muskegon River, near the mouth where it empties into Muskegon Lake. The Wilder River Walk is 985 feet long and 10 feet wide with an additional 400-foot extension spur into the Muskegon Lake Nature Preserve that connects to the nature preserve asphalt bike trail. In addition, seven fishing platforms were constructed along the 985 foot boardwalk; these extend 6 feet toward the water from the already 10 foot-wide boardwalk.
